Apollo offers a versatile family of Smart Card Connectors designed to meet today''s requirements for Smart Cards used in a variety of electronic devices.
Apollo connectors accept 0.76 [.030] thick integrated circuit type Smart Cards meeting the ISO 7810-7816 or ISOCP8-AFNOR standards and GSM 11.11 standards for SIM cards.
Apollo Smart Card Connectors are available in various board mount and surface mount versions. These connectors are supplied in 6, 8 and 16 positions with card detection switches. Housing configurations include standard, low profile, standard with card scoop and front panel mount.
Surface mount SIM/SAM Connectors are available in 6 or 8 positions. The Generic SIM Connector is a low profile 6 position contact module while the SIM/SAM Connector is hinged and is available in an 8 position or 6 position version with a detection switch.
Apollo Smart Card Connectors are ideal for use in a growing variety of electronic equipment including: TV set-top boxes, POS, payment and health terminals, ATM and vending machines, electronic wallets, mobile and pay telephones, ID/access control, computers and medical diagnostic equipment.
