Magnetic Heads with Security FPC

Apollo’s innovative protected data path flex cables (FPC) are built with three conductive layers that allow the center data path active protection from tamper. The internal layer is potted within the Magnetic Head and the termination is within the HSM protected area while the FPC path is protected by a serpentine mesh layers. The conductive mesh layers can be actively monitored for tamper by the host CPU. Any attempt to peel or drill through the Security FPC will indicate a tamper. Security FPC can be configured for any length or number of circuits
